Rwanda takes its AI ambitions to Dreamforce 2026
RISA CEO Antoine Sebera joined a Rwandan delegation led by Hon. Paula Ingabire, Minister of ICT and Innovation, at Dreamforce 2026 in San Francisco, held September 15–17 at the Moscone Center. Hosted by Salesforce under the theme of the "agentic enterprise," the annual event brought together global technology leaders, policymakers, investors, and innovators for more than 1,600 sessions exploring artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
During the event, the delegation engaged with global innovators and explored opportunities for Rwanda to leverage emerging technologies to advance its digital transformation agenda. A centrepiece of Rwanda's presence was an executive roundtable hosted by Minister Ingabire on "Unlocking AI potential in Rwanda and scaling across Africa," convening technology leaders, investors, founders, and innovators to spotlight Rwanda's ambition to build Africa's most advanced AI-powered society.
The roundtable also marked the launch of the Rwanda Digital AI Catalogue, which provides partners, investors, and stakeholders with an overview of Rwanda's AI opportunities and ambitions, giving global technology players a direct window into the country's growing AI ecosystem and the practical pathways to build, invest, and scale from Rwanda.
Rwanda's participation at Dreamforce 2026 builds on a year of sustained momentum around the country's digital and AI agenda from the Digital and AI Compact stakeholder engagements earlier in the year, to the Global AI Summit on Africa, to Minister Ingabire's recent calls for stronger cross-border digital interoperability across the continent. Engaging with the world's leading technology platforms and investors at a stage like Dreamforce reflects the RISA’s core mission: positioning Rwanda not just as an adopter of digital technology, but as a credible destination for AI innovation and investment on the global stage.
