Rwanda showcases innovative digital solutions at Transform Africa Summit 2025 in Guinea Conakry

Conakry, Guinea, November 12, 2025: Rwanda, through the Rwanda Information Society Authority (RISA) and the Ministry of ICT and Innovation (MINICT), is participating in the Transform Africa Summit (TAS) 2025 taking place from 12 to 14 November 2025 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Conakry, Guinea.

Held under the theme AI for Africa: Innovate Locally, Impact Globally,” the summit brings together Heads of State, Ministers, policymakers, private sector leaders, innovators, and youth to advance Africa’s digital transformation agenda and explore the opportunities presented by Artificial Intelligence in driving inclusive growth across the continent.

At the Rwanda pavilion, RISA CEO Mr. Antoine Sebera presented Rwanda’s innovative digital solutions to H.E. the President of Rwanda Paul Kagame and H.E. the President of Guinea, Mamady Doumbouya, highlighting the power of partnerships in advancing technology and building a connected, inclusive digital future for Africa.

The showcased innovations demonstrate Rwanda’s progress in digital transformation and include a range of solutions developed to improve governance, service delivery, and innovation. These include Network Modernization, Government Smart Admin System, E-Ubuzima, Kubaka, Low Code, Citizen Engagement Portal, Agriculture Management Information System (AMIS), Digital Ambassadors Program (DAP), Government Enterprise Service Bus (GESB), Data Hub, and Hanga Hubs. Each of these initiatives reflects Rwanda’s commitment to using technology to improve public service delivery, enhance citizen participation, and support socio-economic development.

Rwanda’s participation in the summit builds upon its strong leadership in Africa’s digital transformation journey, guided by five national digital pillars: connected people, skilled citizens, secure systems, data sharing, and an innovation ecosystem. Through these pillars, RISA continues to champion projects that promote efficient governance, data-driven decision-making, digital inclusion, and innovation.

The Rwanda Pavilion provides an opportunity to share the country’s experience in implementing scalable and sustainable digital solutions while fostering collaboration and partnerships with governments, private sector actors, and development partners from across Africa and beyond. It also serves as a platform to promote Rwanda’s startup and innovation ecosystem, encouraging investment and knowledge exchange in areas such as digital infrastructure, e-governance, data management, and innovation.

Over the three-day event, the Pavilion is expected to attract numerous visitors, including policymakers, investors, and innovators, facilitating new partnerships and dialogue that will continue to accelerate Africa’s digital transformation. Rwanda’s active engagement at Transform Africa Summit reflects its continued commitment to Smart Africa’s vision of transforming Africa into a single digital market, where technology and innovation drive sustainable development and inclusive growth.

The Transform Africa Summit, organized by Smart Africa in partnership with the Government of Guinea, remains the continent’s flagship platform for driving Africa’s digital agenda. The 2025 edition in Conakry provides yet another opportunity for African nations to exchange experiences, build partnerships, and advance the shared goal of an integrated and innovative digital Africa.
