RISA explores Digital Health partnerships during Singapore Trade & Investment Mission to Rwanda
As part of the ongoing Trade and Investment Mission to Rwanda, RISA CEO Antoine Sebera met with Dr. Suhina Singh, founder of Singapore-based health technology company Jonda Health, who was in Rwanda alongside Rwanda's High Commissioner to Singapore, Innocent B. Muhizi.
The CEO shared Rwanda's progress and key achievements in the health sector over the past years, highlighting the country's continued efforts to leverage technology and innovation to strengthen healthcare delivery and improve access to services. They explored opportunities for collaboration to further advance Rwanda's digital health ecosystem.
The meeting, held at RISA headquarters, took place during the two-week trade and investment mission organised by the Rwanda High Commission in Singapore from 5 to 15 October 2026. The mission brings together 16 Singapore-based companies from sectors including healthcare, digital technology, artificial intelligence, agritech, climate change and decarbonization, fintech, aviation, robotics, edtech and investment management.
Its programme includes investment facilitation meetings, business-to-business engagements, roundtable discussions and sector visits, aimed at identifying investment opportunities aligned with Rwanda's national development priorities and encouraging knowledge and technology transfer.
Health technology is one of the areas drawing attention, as Rwanda presents its growing digital health ecosystem to international partners and investors. For Rwanda Information Society Authority, such engagements reflect its mission of championing Rwanda's digital transformation: showing how digital technology is strengthening essential services such as healthcare, and building partnerships with innovators and investors who can help take those solutions further.
