Low Code/No code launched- programming made easier
On January 23rd, 2025, the Rwanda Information Society Authority (RISA), in collaboration with its partners, officially launched the Low-Code/No-Code platform at the Digital Transformation Center. This platform is set to revolutionize government service delivery by enhancing efficiency and accessibility for citizens, businesses, and public institutions.
By shifting the traditional software development paradigm, the platform will enable a faster and smarter approach to building digital solutions. Developers will now be able to create custom applications more efficiently using the built-in Joget framework, significantly reducing development time and costs.
During the launch event, RISA’s CEO, Innocent Bagamba Muhizi, highlighted the platform’s potential to empower local developers by enabling them to build applications independently, reducing reliance on external vendors. He encouraged teams to fully explore the platform’s capabilities, pushing its boundaries to unlock its full potential. He also took a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the dedication of the exceptional teams whose hard work and commitment made this initiative a reality.
